Lodging Kochi-ya
Back on the trail again! We had a pleasant flight from SFO to Tokyo, and this time we flew into Haneda instead of Narita so there was no trekking across Tokyo just to make a connecting flight. Our flight from the states was an overnight flight we landed in Japan early in the morning and were in Kochi, at the temple we left off last time, by 10am. Since we had a late start and a less then perfect night of sleep today was a short day. Our path wandered through the outskirts of Kochi, with a bit of elevation gain and loss but nothing crazy. At the end of the day we got to travel by ferry across a small bay, which is the only part of the pilgrimage that not walking is officially part of the route.
